The people who make
Lakeview feel like home.
Our educators are at the heart of Lakeview. Their experience, warmth and genuine relationships with children and families create the sense of trust, belonging and continuity that our community values.
OUR STORY
Built on relationships.
Grown through trust.
For 25 years, Lakeview Preschool has grown through the relationships we build with children, families and our wider community.
Many of our enrolments come through word of mouth, with happy families recommending Lakeview to others. We also continue to welcome younger siblings over the years, allowing relationships with families to grow across different stages of childhood.
That continuity means a great deal to us. Familiar faces, long-standing connections and strong family relationships help create the sense of trust, belonging and community that has become such an important part of Lakeview.
Our educators bring experience, professional knowledge, warmth and different strengths, but what connects us is a shared commitment to children, families and to one another.

A familiar face from
the very beginning.
For 25 years, Sharon has been at the heart of Lakeview Preschool — building a place where children are known, families feel welcome and educators are supported to do their best work.
Over the years, Lakeview has also cared for many children from Sharon’s own family and circle of friends, including her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Having those closest to her choose Lakeview reflects Sharon’s deeply personal connection to the preschool and the trust generations of families have placed in it.
As Lakeview’s Approved Provider, Sharon remains actively involved in the preschool, bringing 25 years of early childhood experience together with a genuine commitment to the children, families and team who make up the Lakeview community.

When educators feel valued,
children feel the difference.
We believe caring for children begins with caring for the people who support them each day. At Lakeview, supporting our educators’ wellbeing is part of how we build a strong, connected team.
We invest in our team through ongoing professional development, supportive leadership, opportunities to contribute ideas and reflect together, and workplace practices that recognise the importance of balance and wellbeing.
By creating an environment where educators feel respected, supported and connected, we help our team bring their best selves to the relationships they build with children and families.
APPRECIATION IN PRACTICE

These moments strengthen relationships, build connection and remind our educators that the care they give to children and families is seen and valued.
