MY PHILOSOPHY
What guides
my practice.
Being an early childhood educator is something I approach with heart and a deep respect for every child as an individual. Through my experiences, especially being a Mum of 3, I’ve learned how important it is to meet each child where they’re at and create meaningful relationships with both them and their families.
I believe every child is capable and full of potential and it’s my job to create an environment where they feel safe, valued and supported to explore and grow. I see learning as something that happens naturally through play, hands on experiences and following children’s unique interests.
For me, it’s about more than just teaching, it’s about building relationships, fostering creativity and encouraging children to develop confidence in themselves and their abilities. I love watching children’s curiosity unfold as they discover new things and gain the skills to solve problems, work together and express themselves.
I’m passionate about creating a space where diversity is celebrated, ideas are respected and children are empowered to feel proud of who they are. Most of all, I want to nurture a love for learning, a sense of belonging and the confidence to navigate the world with kindness and curiosity.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT LAKEVIEW
A place to belong.
What I love most about Lakeview is the strong sense of belonging and community. I love being part of the Lakeview family and being surrounded by people who genuinely care about the children, each other and the environment we create.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building meaningful relationships with the children, families and staff, and those connections are something I truly value. I love watching the children grow, being part of their learning and development and sharing the special moments that make each day so rewarding.
I’m also incredibly grateful to work alongside a supportive and caring team who are always there for one another. It’s the relationships, the care, the teamwork and the beautiful environment we create together that make Lakeview such a special place to be.
