Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government payment that helps eligible families with the cost of approved child care. Your subsidy is generally paid directly to Lakeview and reduces the fees you pay.

The amount of CCS your family receives depends on your individual circumstances, including your family income and the number of subsidised hours you are entitled to.

From January 2026, eligible families can access at least 72 hours of subsidised care each fortnight. Some families may be eligible for up to 100 hours.

CCS is administered by Services Australia, so families should check their eligibility and keep their details up to date through Centrelink/myGov.

Lakeview welcomes children from approximately 6 weeks to 6 years, with learning environments and experiences designed to respond to children at different stages of their early childhood journey.

Yes. Lakeview provides children with meals and snacks throughout the day.

What children need can vary depending on their age and individual needs. Families are given practical information about what to bring as part of the enrolment and settling-in process.

We recommend clearly naming your child’s belongings so educators can help keep everything together throughout the day.

Children have different needs for sleep, rest and quiet time. Our educators respond to children’s individual rhythms and provide opportunities to rest, recharge or enjoy quieter experiences throughout the day.

Families are encouraged to share information about their child’s usual routines so we can work together to support consistency and wellbeing.

It is very common for children to need time to adjust to separating from their family. Some settle quickly while others need more time, familiarity and reassurance.

Our educators support children to build secure relationships and develop confidence in their new routine, while keeping communication with families open throughout the settling process.

Children’s health and wellbeing come first. Families are kept informed when a child becomes unwell while at Lakeview, and our educators follow the service’s health, illness, medication and exclusion procedures.
