MY PHILOSOPHY
What guides
my practice.
I believe children are capable, curious and unique individuals who deserve to feel safe, respected, valued and heard. I believe children learn best through play, exploration and hands-on experiences, particularly when they are able to follow their own interests and learn at their own pace. For me, strong relationships are the foundation of learning. I want to build trusting relationships with children and families so that every child feels a sense of belonging and knows they are supported.
As an educator, my role is to nurture, listen, observe, guide and provide meaningful opportunities for children to learn and develop. I want to encourage children to become confident and independent while being there to support them when they need me. I value kindness, respect, inclusion and connection, and I hope every child leaves my care feeling confident, capable and proud of who they are.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT LAKEVIEW
A place to belong.
What I love most about Lakeview is the strong sense of belonging and the relationships we build with the children, families and each other. I love coming to work knowing that I am part of a supportive team where everyone genuinely cares about the children and their experiences. It makes me proud to be part of a place where children are known, valued and encouraged to be themselves. I hope every child and family who walks through our doors feels welcomed, safe, supported and like they are truly part of our Lakeview community.
